Super B lithium batteries successfully approved by the MSA

We are happy to announce that our lithium batteries have been approved by the Motor Sports Association (MSA). This approved application makes it possible for us to use our batteries in British motorsport competitions.

With the approved application by the MSA, Super B states that its lithium batteries, designed and manufactured at the production facility in Hengelo (The Netherlands), are conform UN38.3 classification and suitable for motorsport use.

Safety is extremely important and therefore Super B uses the safest Li-ion technology available: Lithium Iron Phosphate. Thorough testing of all our batteries is carried out in accordance with current legislation and we meet all relevant type approvals like UN 38.3.

Being compliant to the UN38.3 means that our lithium batteries successfully passed test criteria such as altitude simulation, thermal test, vibration, shock, external short circuit, impact/crush, overcharge and forced discharge. Therefore our batteries can be transported safely.
