What's new in the Be in Charge app

The Be in Charge app has had its biggest update yet. The main focus was a more stable connection, with several new features added on top. Here is what is new and what has changed.

A more stable connection

Connecting and pairing are now stable on every phone we tested, on both iOS and Android. The rebuilt connection layer runs on a foundation designed specifically for reliable Bluetooth handling.

On/off control in the app

You can now switch your battery on and off directly in the app, and see its current status at a glance.

When a battery is off, the status reads Off and the indicator turns purple.

Available on batteries running recent firmware. The app will prompt you if an update is needed first.

Faster firmware updates

Firmware updates now complete in under three minutes.

Note: the battery needs to be above v1.6.0 to support the fast update.

Product registration

You can now register your battery from our website, linked directly inside the app.

Updated App Store and Play Store listing

The app has a new listing in the App Store and Play Store, with updated screenshots and a clearer description. The current app is now easy to tell apart from the older version. If you are still using the older app, it will point you to this one.

Supported batteries

The app supports the Epsilon 90, Epsilon 100 and Epsilon 150.

Getting the update

Update the Be in Charge app from the App Store or Google Play, then connect to your battery.
