Kailub Russell wins 'America's Toughest Race' with Super B starter battery

Super B is proud to see that FMF/KTM Factory Racing's Kailub Russell has won the 12th Annual Amsoil Snowshoe GNCC yesterday. It was round nine of the 2018 Amsoil Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series, an AMA National Championship, and because of the muddy and challenging track the race got the nickname 'America's Toughest Race.'

Russell was racing with a Super B starter battery. The SB12V5200P-BC is a light-weight, high-performance, safe and reliable lithium-ion starter battery, especially developed for motorsports. With a weight of only 0,85kg or 1.87lb, the battery saves up to 80% in weight in comparison to traditional lead-acid batteries and is only 1/3 of the size of a conventional battery. This improves not only the performance of the vehicle but also helps to increase the fuel economy.

With our roots in motorsports Super B has a history over 10 years developing and producing premium quality lithium batteries.
