FCC and ICES-003 certification for Super B batteries

The SB12V100E-ZC (also representative for the SB12V160E-ZC) and the SB12V1200Wh-M (Epsilon) meet the requirements for the FCC (Federal Communications Commision) and the ICES-003 (Interference Causing Equipment Standard).

Tested was how much unwanted electromagnetic disturbances the electronics of the batteries will cause in the frequency range from 30 Mhz till 1 Ghz. These remained below the set limit. The batteries now meet the American and Canadian requirements, so the batteries can be sold in both countries.
Chief Technical Officer Marc Borgers: "The FCC certification is important to Super B for expanding our global scope for products that originally were developed and certified for the European market. This proves the robustness and reliability of Super B battery modules and the ability to enter new markets relatively quickly."
