Super B rider Mika Ahola takes his 5th consecutive tittle in the WEC!

Mika Ahola:  '' World Champions again!!!!! But this time not “just” world champions, not just one more title. To me much more important was that I became the first rider in the history of Enduro World Championships to win the title in all three categories E1, E2, E3. I became also the only rider winning five titles in a row since the introduction of only three categories. And that’s not all. I became also the oldest Enduro World Champion! Last year I leveled Giovanni Sala’s record as the oldest guy to win the World Title but actually Sala was some months older, so this year I had some extra pressure trying to beat his record. And there's more: I think I was the first rider to have his personal mascot on the podium! Actually all this means so much to me that it takes some time to really understand what I've done. Right now it just seems too good to be true. Back in 2007 when I finally won me first title I didn’t even dream about achieving all this…''
