Super B Rider Hans Vogels once again showed his great form by winning the second round of the German Cross Country Championship in Walldorf. The beautiful weather of the last few months with almost no rain made sure the track was very dusty. Overtaking was dificult, in the first few laps Vogels was in 5th/6th position, waiting for oppurtunities to overtake his rivals. After three laps he started overtaking people working his way up to the front of the field. Lap after lap the field became longer, and the visibility improved. It took Vogels 6 laps Vogels to take the lead. After the fuelstop with an hour of racing completed Vogels was the first to continue and was able to ride his own pace. He won the two hour race leading comfortable by one and a half minutes. Vogels: ,,I'm happy with the result and pleased with the fact I'm still getting better race by race. On Ascension Day I will race in the Dutch ONK MX1 in Rhenen. I really like this track, for me it's a good practice. Next is the 4th round of the WEC in Fethiye, Turkey.''
