Team Honda Europe is preparing for Dakar 2011 with a completely new rallybike. The reartank works a as 19 liter fueltank and as a subframe in one. The weigth is now more centralised which improves the balance of the bike and the handling.
Because of this rear fueltank the battery is moved to the right side next to the engine. As weight and reliability are crucial in rallyraid, the team is using the Super B battery!
