Husaberg Super B rider Hans Vogels finishes 9th overall in WEC Enduro

Posted on 27th Sep 2010 @ 11:34 PM

In his first full season in the WEC Enduro Dutchman Hans Vogels finished 9th overall in the E2 class. The last race of the season was held in Noiretable, France. Vogels came to France in 11th position overall, but thanks to his good results he climbed to 9th place!
Vogels was familiar with the conditions in France, as he knew the course from the European Enduro Championship. The heavy rain made it very slippery, the riders had to do three laps of 70 kilometres, each lap in about 2.5 hours. After his biggest rival had to abandon the race, Vogels moved up to tenth place after the first day. More rain during saturdaynight made the conditions even worse. Vogels: '' I'm very pleased about this season and all went very well in the races. This was a tough weekend for me, as it was so slippery I couldn't ride smooth. The Husaberg was perfect throughout the whole season and the cooperation with the team was very good. I'm looking forward to 2011 in full confidence.''

Next race is the Dutch enduro round in Havelte, in which Vogels will compete in continuation of the Dutch Enduro Championship.
