During the ONK (Open Dutch Championship) Supermono in Oschersleben the Novabike Racing Team scored a good result with a 11^th place with the bio-ethanol Novabike.  After some technical problems in the practise session, the Novabike started in 14^th position after riding only 5 qualifying laps.
In the race the bike was running perfectly, and the pace went up. The fastest lap of rider Nick Appelman would have put him on 7^th place on the grid. The race was also a test to measure the fuel consumption and to learn more about the setup of the bike. The team still sees enough options to gain more power, and to make the bike lighter, and is confident the bike has more potential than already shown in Oschersleben.
